Governors
The Governing body at Cononley Primary School is responsible for the effective management of the school, acting within a statutory framework, in order to provide the best possible education for our children. The key responsibilities of the Governing body are:
- To ensure clarity of vision and strategic direction.
- To hold the school to account for educational achievement of its pupils.
- To make sure that the school’s money is well spent.
The Governors meet four times a year as a Full Governing Body. In addition, there are two committees, Resources Committee and Standards and Achievement Committee, which meet once each term. The meeting schedule and terms of reference for each committee are included on this page.
