School Meals

Hot school meals are provided every lunchtime.

School meals should be paid for online via Arbor in advance of meals being taken. Please pay weekly, half termly or termly.

Free School Meals

Free school meals eligibility has changed from September 2026

The Department for Education has extended the entitlement to free school meals to include all children from households in receipt of Universal Credit, regardless of household income. Although eligibility will be granted to all Universal Credit recipients, it is important to note that families do still need to apply to receive the meals. However, if your child is already registered for free school meals you do not have to apply. The transitional protection that was in place while Universal Credit was rolled out has now ended.

Schools also receive additional funding for every child who is entitled to free school meals. This funding contributes towards additional support for children and is known as the Pupil Premium Grant. We advise parents and carers to apply for free school meals if they think they are eligible, even if their child has packed lunches.

School Meal Payment Arrears

We ask that all school meals are paid for in advance using Arbor. If the account is in debit by £10 or more, a reminder for payment is sent by text on Monday, with a further reminder by letter on Wednesday. A final reminder letter will be sent on the following Monday. If no payment is received, school meals will no longer be available and parents must provide a packed lunch for their child.

A copy of this term's menu is available to download. Please note that Mrs Loughran, our school cook, is able to adjust the menu so that it meets the tastes of our children. Please contact the school office if you wish to discuss adjustments for your child.
