Parents and carers are not entitled to take their children on holiday during term time. Taking a pupil out of school during term time interrupts teaching and learning and can disrupt your child’s educational progress. A request for leave of absence in term time must be made to the headteacher using the correct form (see link below).  

Please note:

  • Each leave application is considered individually, taking into account any factors presented by the family.
  • Leave of absence will only be granted in exceptional circumstances. 
  • Application forms are available from the school office or by clicking the link below.
