Admissions Policy

North Yorkshire County Council (NYCC) sets the criteria for admission to the school.

The Area Education Office, Harrogate, deals with all admissions to the school.

The governors have the right to refuse admissions when a year group is up to its maximum capacity.

Admissions to Reception

The Governing Body allows all children to begin school during the September of the academic year in which they will be five. The initial weeks may have staggered entry. In practice, it is anticipated that the oldest children will be accommodated first.
